Cozumel Nightlife
Cozumel is not known as a place having a great nightlife because scuba divers dive early in the morning and cruise visitors are usually on their way to another island. But still Cozumel does have it's known spots where you can enjoy some live music, friends, drinks and a good atmosphere of nightlife. There is always something for everyone. For late nighters, the club time starts late at about 1 am.Most of the music and dance venues are along the Avenida Rafael Melgar boulevard. Carlos and Charlie's is in the Punta Langosta shopping mall, practically next to Senor Frog's. Punta Langosta is just south of Calle Sur. The Hard Rock Cafe is also on Avenida Rafael Melgar just north of the municipal pier.
In town, there are a few Latin music club choices. These open and close on high season. They fill out with clubbers when people have cash in their pockets, but then they have to close down when the flow of tourism stops bringing in money. There's a nice sports bar at the corner of Avenida and Calle Norte named the All Sports Bar, which operates as a salsa club from Thursday to Saturday 10pm to 4am.
