Tijuana Nightlife
Tijuana nightlife today attracts thousands of tourists daily. Tijuana’s nightlife is very popular among US youth, who cross the border to drink alcohol prior to their 21st birthday (Mexico's legal drinking age is 18). Most of the nightlife in Tijuana takes place on Avenida Revolucion, which has hundreds of bars, discos and nightclubs. Club Mystere - Popular 3 level open air dance club with high volume music and DJ on weekends. During the day you can enjoy a cold beer on the outdoor patios. Club Mystere was once called Club Escape. The disco is located on Revelucion Ave near Club Safari.
Coko Bongo – Bongo is a huge club which includes table service and foam parties. Watch dancing and sports on several plazma TV's and enjoy a cold beer on one of the open terraces of the disco. Coko bongo is located on the Avenida Revolucion between the 8th and 9th streets in Tijuana.
Safari Club – Safari is a very popular club and disco with DJ and live music in Tijuana. The club is mostly busy only on weekends when all the youth pours to Tijuana. Mostly the Club offers ‘all you can drink’ nights. Safari is located on Avenida Revolucion near Club Mystere.
Tangaloo Club - Tangaloo Club opened in 2001 seeking to innovate the nightlife Tijuana. The Tangaloo offers club features like DJ's, live music and even comedy shows. The club is located on the Avenida Monterrey 3215.
The Rock - The Rock Club was formally known as the Baby Rock. The Club includes DJ’s, lazer light shows and pyrotechnics with house music playing until the morning. Baby Rock in Tijuana is an upscale nightclub that also offers table service. Baby rock is located in Diego Rivera 1482 Zona Rio.
Avenida Revolucion is also famous for its nearby redlight district "La Coahuila" (also known casually as ‘Zona Norte’) which boasts a large number of street prostitutes as well as a large selection of strip clubs. La Coahuila is fileld with brothels, strip clubs and illegal drugs. Tijuana municipality permits whorehouses in this region as do many other regions in Mexico. Prostitution is permitted in Tijuana's North Zonealso called as the “tolerance zone”. Well known places of this area are listed below;
Adelitas Bar - The bar was opened in 1962 and currently it is the best adult bar in Tijuana. In Adelitas you will see the best Tijuana strippers in the region. You also have the chance to acquire the services of the many Tijuana Hookers. Rooms are available at the Hotel Coahuila. Adelitas is located on Calle 1 on Avenida Constitucion in Tijuana.
Chicago Club - Chicago Club is another famous Tijuana Brothel. At the club you can get a drink and a Tijuana prostitute for a relatively cheap price. There is also an hotel nearby that offer cheap rooms on an hourly basis. There are also many strippers dancing on stage at any time. Chicago club is located on Avenida Constitucion just North of Calle 1.
Hong Kong Club - This club is a popular remodeled brothel and probably is the closest in style to an American style strip club in the Zona Norte. On many nights you will find over 100 girls working in the Hong Kong Club. The Hong Kong Club is located at 2009 Calle Coahuila just several doors west of Adelitas Bar.
