Swarovski Kristall Welt

Swarovski Kristall Welt - Innsbruck - AustriaOnly 15 minutes drive distance to the Innsbruck city center (taking the Wattens bus from the Busbahnhof, next to the Hauptbahnhof), you come to a fantasy world, a man made hill where you'll see a huge face spouting a crystal waterfall. This bizarre fantasy sets the theatrical stage for what's hidden inside the Swarovski Kristallwelt (Crystal World). Deep inside the giant face is a wonderful world of crystal, an underground fantasy with seven linked chambers. Designed by the Viennese artist Andrew Heller, the crystal kingdom of Swarovski is dedicated to the vision of Daniel Swarovski, founder of the world's leading producer of crystals. Since Kristallwelt opened in 1995, millions of visitors have visited the site.

Just after entering the giant head with its sparkling eyes and waterfall, you'll immediately see a long wall of crystal with approximately 12 tons of some of the finest cut crystals in the world. In other sections, you can wander into the "Planet of the Crystals," with a three dimensional light show. In the Swarovski Crystal Dome, you will get an idea of what it's like being inside a crystal giant.

After your visit to Swarovski Kristallwelt, you can also purchase some products from the mammoth range of Swarovski products at the shop. Products range from detailed crystal items such as small musical instruments to depictions of various animals in crystal. There is also a wide selection of crystal jewelry such as necklaces, rings and earrings. The Kristallwelt also contains an alpine garden with rare and indigenous plants of the Alps and an adventure playground for children. You can easily spend 2 hours at the Swarovski Kristallwelt.
